Kuala Lumpur Day2

Woke up really late today and by the time we headed out, was about 1plus in the afternoon!

Headed down to Time Square and boy the place was HUGE! With 7-8 storeys for shopping and food. An indoor theme park there, which claimed to be the biggest inddor theme park around. But i think it ain't big at all. :P

Had Kenny Rogers for brunch and it was GOOD! RM45+ for 2 pax with 2 chickens + 2soups + 1drink :D

There were lotsa shops selling clothes, toys[remote controlled tanks/helicopters/planes/cutie stuffs], bags and a few that were catered to the cosplays.

After spending a good 4hours there, we headed down to Bingtang area for Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavilion and Starhill by their Monorail!

Nothing much there but a high class shoppers paradise! Not too long later it was dinner time and we had some seafood at a roadside seafood place we chanced upon while looking for Arab Square.

Total damage = RM65.10! About the same price if we were to eat in SG!

Tasted not bad though!

Decided to walk back to Chinatown from Bintang. It was an experience walking on pavements not meant for pedestrians, jay-walking right during busy hour and passing by different zones.

When we got back to Chinatown, we saw this

And so we gotten about 2.5kg of durians, and sneaked it back into our room! Very yummy for that price!

Last but not least, our loot for the day!

Goodnight and Tataz!

Live from Kuala Lumpur!

Blogging here in the hotel, finally! after a 35mins flight, an hour's of coach ride, 10mins shuttle ride, and a 20minutes walk, we FINALLY got here!

Along the way, saw 2 petshops across the road. 1 selling dogs and stuffs, the other rabbits and bird. Kinda bad codition for the 2nd one cos the were keeping rabbits and other smaller animals along the pavement, under the sun!

Am going for lunch, and will check them out laters!

Stay tune!

So, here's the end of Day1.

We've been to KL Suria @ KLCC, all the branded stuffs there lah, and the usualy Isetan & Supermarket.

Had Nando's[similar to kenny rogers] for lunchie and it was fantastic.

Had Sakae Suh=shi for tea! The sashimmi is super cheap loh! RM5.90 only!

Came back to the hotel at about 7pm, fell asleep while resting, and only had Bakuteh for dinner at about 9pm. Walkedaround CheeCheongKai and bought fake and cheap stuffs. LOL

Think we spent more on food than anything else. Anyways, here's our loot for the day.

Renoma briefs[beri cheap hor! RM23+ while sg selling at $16.90. Scented candles at RM1 each, fake oakley and a pair of adidas shorts.

The poor rabbits that were being placed by the roadside.

Others inside, but kept in a very cramped environment.

The cats too.

There were dogs as well. JRTS, English Bulldogs, a Husky which looked more like a Mongrel and Yorkshire terrier being sold at exhorbitant prices. No more pictures cos the man caught me taking some sneakily. The other one has better environment, a typical PetLoversCentre kinda shop, which also smelled lesser.

Got to go now. Really sleepy and tired by now. More tomorrow!

IT Show

Woot!

Been really busy and tired man! Helped out my Aunt at the IT Show since Thursday as a cashier at the Sony Vaio booth along with Michelle & Peifen. My legs ached like mad after the first day and the moment I plonked onto my bed, I fell asleep within 5 seconds!

It was really packed and sales was really good! Talked about recession huh. People are buying notebooks costing up to $4199 !!! Out of all the buyers, most foreigners [China & Indo-Chinese] paid by cash, others buy nets/credit cards and quite a number by credit card instalments.

I've never liked the idea of purchasing items by CC instalments, by doing so, you're always in debts! Don't these people spend what is within their means?

Anyways! HoneyBee bought this [okay, I have a part too, paid extra $10, and carried all the way back home for him! hahahaha!]

Acer Aspire One Netbook

Well, Original price from retail store is $699, then the IT Show was offering it at $638 on the last second day. Since I know the supervisor there, he gave me a really good deal! $610 + upgrade to 2gb ram + mouse + 4gb thumbdrive!

What more could I ask for!

Good buy IMO! When I went down to the store at Funan to make the purchase[it was out of stock at the show] I was a PINK Lenovo Netbook! SO sweetly designed I think I want one! HoneyBee offered to buy me one, but I think I better get my room furniture settled an dwait till my Fuitsu konked out before getting it.

Unnecessary to spend so lavishly at this point of time.

Talking about the IT Show, I've met really some unreasonable people of a certain race. Crazily saying to me while walking by my booth "Sony sucks!" and walk off! Gutless you STINKY SUCKY little I*****!

And another couple, after going through all the hassle of keying in their order form, getting out the freebies, and doing all the paper work, when it was time to upgrde the ram, which will take baout 3mins, they said they can't wait, they have a flight to catch back to blangadesh! KNN!

And of cos this both incident reminds me of the stupid Sembawang Landlord, and my 2 other clients when I was doing Interior Design.

I will want to have no more dealing with them anymore!

GRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

Joined Mom for a trip to Johor last weekend and boy things were really cheap!

Mini Dunkin Donuts originally priced at RM$10.60 for a box, I've got 2 boxes for the price of 1!! Yummy yummy!

"Shi Quan" Duck if buy from Dian Xiao Er will cost more than $30, is only RM42 for 1 big duck!

Made Duck Mee Pok the next day for LUNCH!

Saw the Salt Crystal Lamp by a Pakistan Stall Holder, and he's only selling them between RM$70-RM$85 per piece of 5-7kg! Whereas I gotten 1 locally for Mom which costed me $55 for a approximately 3kg one. Gotten 2 for Nicole.y

The Gui Ling Gao was cheap and yummy too! RM$5 for a big bowl, in Balestier, It's like SGD$6.

Manuka Honey is going at RM$72 while I bought 1 in SG costing $35.60 for a lower UMF.

Can't wait for the next trip man! When Chris go, I'll have bigger spending power! Muahaha!

Updates on Sundae, her new past time, sitting on the arm of the sofa, looking at the on going construction happening downstairs.

Good luck girls, for your A levels Results!

----------------------

Some time ago, Dad wanted me to give away both Sundae and Brownie due to the reason that he doesn't want their fur to be lying and flying around the newly built condo which he had decided to shift into.

I started my search for a room to rent along with the pets. Some kind Indian lady staying with only her Mom, agreed to rent the master bedroom to the 4 of us at $550, and so we paid the deposit, got a written receipt from her, and agreed to move in on the 28th Feb 2009 and also to sign the agreement which will be prepared by her agent on that day itself too.

3weeks passed and 2 days before[26th feb] the intended move in date, I had the coutesy to text her to remind her that we're coming at a certain time. There was no reply for the day. The following day[27th feb] I received a reply from her that she'll confirm things with me later when she call. I told her I need definite time now as I have to allow the movers for preparations as well.

She then called me at 3pm, and here comes the BOMB!

She said

I can't let the room out to me anymore.
fuck why?

Cos my Mom's bladder condition had worsen and she'll need the master bedroom for convenience sake. dammit! you only tell me this today?

We had seen a couple of doctors and there was nothing they could do. for goodness sake, you had time to see doctors you didn't had time to give me a coutesy call to inform me at least 3 days before so that I could make other arrangements?

I tried asking around my friends and family whether they had rooms to let, but none of them wanted pets in the house. if you're uncomfotable with my pets, please tell me so. fucking waste my time travelling from AMK to Sembawang 3-4 times to view, pay deposit and prepare the room for my other furniture.

I'm so sorry about what happened, I can give you your deposit back right now since I'm outside. i don't fucking care about the money now!

She's such a irresponsible Landlord!

The first time I saw her advertisement on SG-House forum, she quoted $650 for the master bedroom, after know ing i got pets, she wanted to charge me $750. CRAZILY high for a Sembawang room IMO. She even had the guts to say it's 5 mins away from the MRT when we freaking took MINIMUM 15mins to walked there from her place.

She wanted immediate move in, but I could only move on the last day of feb. So she 'dropped' me, but I told her if by ext week she still hasn't got a tenant, do let me know.

So she called me the next week, I told her if she accepts $550 for monthly rental, I'll give her the deposit if the room is fine after viewing, and she agreed.

We paid her $550 and so, we left the place happily.

I highly suspect that she has gotten a tenant who could pay her more than what we could offer. I was even kind enough to offer her my AMK flat's large fridge and 8.5kg washer to share, and to be given to her when we leave. She was so paranoid and replied me as if we wanted to sell it to her or something.

Irresponsible Indian Woman!

She lives in Block 400+ Admiralty Drive, #03-**.

----------------------

Okay, enough of the uneventful day. I fianlly settled ourselves at Mom's place in Fernvale. Her tenant is a Malaysian who hasn't been back for 3 months, and he agreed to let us occupy the rom until he comes back to get his stuffs settled.

So here's Brownie and Sundae int heir new home.

Brownie's Area - Sudden reduction of space by HALF!

Huh, wassup?! Classic facial expression. Don't you just feel like pinching her nose?

S: What are you doing Brownie?
B: Drinking water lah!

S: Don't you wanna come out to play with me?

B: No, I wanna sleep with my little Polary Beary :P

S: Oh, I'll go sleep with my Orangey Snakey then.

Aren't they just adorable? :D

Sundae spent last weekend over at her beloved sister's place. Look over at Alfie's blog for more!
