Day Out @ Sentosa

Call me SuaKu lah. I've not been to the attractions in Sentosa for the past 12years, and thinking that Chris might not have been there recently, I planned for a day out there.

The itinerary was supposedly to be:

11am: Dim sum Breakfast
2pm: Apply Islander card & whatsnot
230pm: Tour begins for the Package deal of 3 attractions & 1 adventure
630pm: Dinner @ Sakae
740pm: Songs of the Sea
830pm: Head home
1030pm: Drive out for Supper

BUT! The start of the day had already ruin our 1st part of the itinerary.

We:

Woke up late
Nua even later
Had lunchie @ home
Got to Vivo in the late noon at 3pm
Chris said he had visited all the attractions in Sentosa & commented it wasn't interesting
Walked around, took pictures & pretended we were foreign tourists HAHAHAHA

So we queued up for the Cineblast thingy which he haven been to & realised 30mins later that we're in the wrong queue
then this ticket auntie
stupid & stuck up attitude
saying that only 1 discounted ticket can be sold to 1 islander member
not as if we cannot afford
she also din tell us between 6-8pm islander members are entitled to 50% discount for the ride
KUKU LAH!

When we had our ride, it was already 6-ish pm
Walked around somemore
Chris decided to check into one of the resorts last minute but no vacancy
Had Ben & Jerry Ice cream
Went for the Skyride & Luge for the first time
FUN!
Better than Riding in the Cable car

Lastly, I had the cheapest dinner in the entire 2 months, Chris was shocked & asked if I was okay. Well, sometimes I just miss cheap hawker food.

I'll leave you guys with pictures. Silly boy kept saying I look good with tied hair, when I finally looked myself in the mirror after the Cineblast ride, I looked like some SIAOCHARBOR!

Not so suaku now

Weekend!

What do I usually do during my weekends? Of cos the things which I don't get to do on my work days, like:

1) SHOP THE WHOLE DAY
2) GO BLADING
3) BRING THE DOG OUT FOR A GOOD DAY OUTDOOR FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS
4) NUA / ROT THE DAY AWAY
5) MEET UP WITH FRIENDS/FAMILY
6) CLUB / CHILL
7) BAKE
8) GROCERY SHOPPING

& so much more!

FYI, I work like Monday - Saturday every week, but most of the time, it's a half day for me on Fri & Sat if I don't have appointments and some of the times, even how dreadful it is, I'll even have to work on Sundays.

Last weekend was one of my typical weekend.

Left work a lil early on friday, to have dinner @ Kenny Rogers in Marina Square. My Favourite Chicken and Mac & Cheese. :D

On Sat, Baby went on to meet his insurance agent while I went on to work. HE ended the meeting like in 40mins. I had 3 apoointments schedule, only 2 came. Wasted my time! Haha, but it was okay, at least I had a lil time here & there to lunch with him, & to entertain him in my office.

Ma first Roller Blade

Heeheehee.. Set myself to lose weight, but hate running! And so.................I got myself a pair of K2 Aspire roller blades to go blading with Baby every weekend!
New & pretty blades!

Baby's very worn out blades, he'll need a new one pretty soon.

Went to a void deck some blocks away for my 1st lesson, fell down 4times, 3 on my back, and guess what?! I did a SPLIT while trying to cross over from the concrete onto the grass patch that after the drain *ouch*

My blades with virgin scratches

All geared up @ Bishan Park. Luckily I bought the protective gears, if not me will be having scratches here and there after the 2hour session

Kuku me
Miraculously, I surived the 2hour long blading. Of course, I fell down like 4-5 times, in front of many curious & mocking eyes, again and again, especially when going down slope. Somehow I just CANNOT brake and control my directions whilst going down, even on the tiniest mini humps :(

Went for dinner at the coffeeshop opposite my flat, the dim sum was yuck yuck, and the hor fun was yum yum. Makan session for the 2 of us at a coffeeshop can even cost a minimum of $25 eating very ordinary-not-so-filling food.

*AHHHHHH.....*I'm putting on more weight than I lose each time I exercise!!!

Talking about food, we had Ambush @ Taka, yummilicious! A perfect combination of Japanese + Italian style.

His Baby Scallop + Fish Roe Linguine, our Deep-Fried Mozzerella Cheese & my Scallop Paella

Oh scallop, what fat bod you have

Heh, then we went to Dian Xiao Er for din din this evening. The Duck skin very nice, LAH! *sinful as well* heh Also had the veggie with century + salted egg, NICE too! But the 3rd dish, sliced fishy, was not so good. An ultra fish lover like me only ate 2 pieces. :P

Honey, can we have buffet @ Goodwood Park this weekend?
