Chopped it off!

Chopped off my fringe. HAHAHA, but not bangs lah. :P

Nice? I think I look more like my sister now. Her hair lookslike this too. Just different parting.

Went on a kinda romantic night out on Friday. Look what we've prepared?

Went to Changi Beach, BUT, more of eerie feeling than any other thing.

End up drove down to pasir ris park, AND no 2 trees were near enough for us to tie our hammock. Settle down at the beach side instead.

That stupid bottle of red wine, 2001 Merlot, tasted salty! Dunno is it because it's spoilt or what. Hur hur, any one wants the remaining? :P

By the way, anyone wants a full set of "Ha-Ha" Crab? There's a pair inside.

Expenses-free day!

At least for me lah! :P

That's the advantage about going out with Daddy. Everything will be paid, down from the cheapy cup of barley drink by the road @ Geylang to the expensive bowl of shark's fins @ Thai Village.

Since young, I don't really fancy going out with Daddy. Why you might ask, that's because he's just the very typical kinda man, go out for a main motive, but never for the reason of window shopping or just spending some time walking around aimlessly.

But at times, for the sake of going out for the daughters-dad bonding session & needless to say, the advantage of having good food and a all-expenses-paid day out, I'd gladly follow.

First stop of the day, Dim Sum @ Geylang! NOT NICE AT ALL LOH!

Think the other one opposite the Beef Kuay Tiao there is slightly better, at least for the Har-Gao & Chee Cheong Fun.

Then this silly sister wanted to buy a $169 bag from NewUrbanMale which looks like any other bag you can buy from FarEast. So unworth of the price, and so off we went to Raffles City, at Star Three Sixty, I picked this Joan Benoit Iconic Print Club Nike Bag for her. And yes, Dad shows favourtism one hor! He paid for it once she said, "Ok, I like this one."

Gah! Dad refused to return me the $200 over bucks for the Oven & Iron purchase from last week. So a bit upset lah, so went to buy B&J ice cream to eat. You know, Chocolates, sweets, cakes & expecially ICE CREAM from haagan daz & ben & jerry makes me happy.

Weeeee~~ My Chocolate Fudge brownie ice cream in waffle cone. Yummiliciously yummy!

Finally it was about dinner time. Confidently, without any prior booking, we headed down to Thai Village @ Oasis intending to have an early dinner.

BUT! Realised it shifted, but luckily, not very far. Just a 1 min drive away at Leisure park, we saw what we've been craving for!

Dady often brought us to Thai Village when we were young, I think, reason was because we were young, and didn't know how to enjoy good food, and so bill each time was still quite okay for dad to part with his money then.

But now, a simple dinner with 4 adults who so love food already cost Two hundred plus.

Silly sister acting cute again

The sharky's fins.

My portion

The rest of the dishes

Scooping up the very last drop of the soup.

The food was so-so only leh, not as nice as what I remembered.

Oh ya, fat-boy-short is over at my place again. See how buay-song my dog is? :P 1st day here and he already spoilt her 1-day-old soft toy.

my dogs are cute

"You're way too beautiful girl"

Oh my goodness, guess what Dina bought me from Taiwan:

Sanitary PADS?

On a closer look

Opening it up, REALLY LOOK LIKE PADS!!

The packet

And unexpectedly, it's actually 4 lil pieces of MARSHMELLOWS! (ok, Dina took a piece before I snapped this.)

Quite nice, sweeter than the usual marshmellows we can get in SG.

By the way, I'm Super Duper Proud to annouce..................

MY BRACES ARE TAKEN OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

As of 17.04.08.

Teeheehee... Big Wide Smile!

To end the whole bracey thing, it wasn't even the least pleasant experience! The Doc kept "kiao-ing" the surface of my tooth (to remove the cement) that he accidentally hurt my lips (got mini ulcer now), and when he cleaned my teeth using those eeky sounding equipments, my gums hurts like hell lah! And and and, I got gagged by the yellowish latex mould when he slapped it on my upper set of teeth. Coughed and coughed, gagged for like a minute before he realised I was about to choke and quickly pressed the button to put me on sitting position. I teared.

Anyways, I have pretty pearlies now, after $4.5K and a 1yr 9mths of monthly dental visits agony. :P Not gonna post the before pictures, too ugly to be broadcasted over the net.

I love my pearlies

Weekend Loot

Weekend was great! We slept in really late and then headed down to run some errands, had dinner before popping by Carrefour at Suntec to purchase Oven & Iron as asked by the step-mom.

Again, we had food at Waraku! Look at the yummilicious food we had.

The Tori, love the salmon, bacon&aparagus & the scallop-ies!

My din din

His din din

Don't see his partion like very little! But in fact, he had more food than me. Half 3/4 of my bowl of rice, 3/4 of the Tori grill, & 1/2 of my slice beefys.

Along with the purchases of the 2 items at Carrefour, we bought these too! Muahahaha! Our Mini Fondue Set & other junkies.

Ready to eat! Kaypoh dog wants a share as well.

The stupid chocolate cup holder cracked like 3mins after liting up the candle! So laoyah one! But nevertheless, we enjoyed the fondue till the last drop of chocolate. Heh heh! Gonna have it changed to the other set some time this week.

As planned, we headed down to Escape Theme Park @ Downtown East. Except for the pirate ship & the inverter, rides wasn't the least fantastic, or should I say, exciting.

But I still had fun! Was quite an experience on the Iverter ride, first time in my life I got hung upside down for like 5 seconds or so. Haha!

The queue for "Go-Kart" was DREADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD-fully LONGGGGGGGGGGG! And so, we started to:

Take picture,

Stare hard at each other,

Dance to the music,

AND before we knew it, it was our turn!

After all the stomach boggling rides, hungry as we were, we settled at the isolated benches outside Orange Julius / Burger King

Me & the ok-tasting hotdog bun.

Headed to the mini games carnival area after food.

Look what we've won after spending on 6 games.

The purple rat looks so weird, and so I hopped over from the Bull's Eye booth to the Perfect Landing's to have it changed to the Pinky Poodle dog. Kekeke.

I love Waraku

Our long weekend

It was baby girl's birthday last Saturday, 05-04-08, and we decided to spend the day with her at the Beach! So off we went to Sentosa in the afternoon as I think she really needs some swimming exercise to work out all the fats!

Look at her standing on twos while she waits for Chris to come back with her food @ the carpark in Vivocity.

Read more about her part of the story @ her blog @ http://sundaejrt.blogspot.com/. :)

Thank God Chris brought his hammock! Earlier in the afternoon, we used it as a shelter as the sun burns furiously. When the heat got down a lil, into a relaxing breezy late afternoon, we laid, each on one side and watched the trees swayed, ate our chips and keeping our eyes eagled on the birthday girl every now and then.

Very 'impromptuly' we decided to have BARBEQUE later in the night. We packed up at about 530pm, sent ourselves home, washed up the 3 of us and laze a lil before heading off to the NTUC @ AMK Hub to get the stuffs needed.

This is what we've got after spending 1.5hours and $92bucks! & that's my Kaypoh[busybody] dog who's ramaging through the shopping bags thinking that all the food was meant for her.

Starting up the fire

The maid takes over, with the baby sista hazel watching

Look at the amount of food! We bought it based on 2 hungry people, turned out to be too much! dragged down another 2 semi full people[maid & sista amanda] to help finish the food.

And so, during that 4hours, we....

cooked

ate

posed

&

took pictures of the food.

Most of the boliao pictures were taken by sista amanda, blame her for not cooking. Hao chi lan duo! :P

Super drained out by the time it ended at 1am. We showered again before konking out right away.

Then on Sunday, somehow Chris agreed to Mandy's invitation for the meeting at Discovery8, a travel agency claiming that they wanna give us some gift vouchers eg: 1 for 1 cruise holiday & a $1000 shopping credits.

We got to their office, felt weird right after we took our first step in. Felt even weirder to be conversing with one of the sales personnel/agent in a big room along with the rest. There were like 30 over round tables, 70% filled with avg of 2-3 people each, all talking at the same time with fast paced music playing in the background, seems like a fish market!

Anyways, we went there narrow-minded as we've read & heard such scams through word of mouth as well as the internet.

It goes something like paying a down payment of NINETEEN THOUSAND SING DOLLARS, for either 25 or 50yrs, and then a $350 yearly subscription, it will guarantee you with 10 hotel night free in a 4-5 star hotels world-wide, and the ability to purchase air tickets or extra hotel nights for less than half the retail price.

Piangz! Who can tell if the company will last 25-50years? Who can tell if you guys aren't scammers? Who can tell if the stuffs you showed on your files aren't made up stories?

We were very nice towards the uncle who as trying his best to make us comfortable and liking him. But the moment we heard of the whole package, and told him a "NO" very nicely, his atittude changed. He looked as if we owed him millions, he looked as if he would beat us up, nevertheless, we remain nice & calm, shot him a few questions which he briefing answer and moved on quickly to psycho us even further with a lower package of $10K, and even wanted us to put a deposit of that pathtic $100.

We left after almost 3hours! WTH! Initially they told us it was about 90mins, but we're there for like 180mins! Sat until my butt cracked. We took the free gift vouchers and then drove off to Suntec for our yummilicious dinner buffet at Kuishin-Bo!

Some of the dishes we had within that 3hours are mainly loads and loads of Snow Crab, loads & loads of salmon sashimi, chawamushi, cold udon & soba, handrolls, sushis teppanyaki and loads & loads of sweet desserts & ice cream!

Walked around the shopping centre with a buldging stomach and decided it's time for me to do something about my tummy fats! Was on the verge of purchasing a Osim Uzap, luckily Aunt Vivian has the similar Oto Slimming belt which isn't of use to her anymore, she gave it to me.

Sent Chris home to get his stuffs for the working week, then back to my home. Super tiring and enjoyable weekend!

Sign off with a picture of me in his army "beggar like headgear". :P

Baby girl is 5!
