Heart Bleed

With Chris's work piling up, he actually spent lesser time with me this whole week. And there's nothing to keep me occupied since I've handed all my projects over to the 2 bosses.

Yea, jobless again. Without Aunty Vivian in SG also very bored lah, got no one to chit chat with over the phone, no one to go neighbourhood shopping with, no place to go over to nua and have some very delicious home cooked food.

So I spent my days rotting at home, in front of the laptop, tv, psp and of cos some quality time with Sundae.

Then yesterday, I went for facial at Aunty Vivian's regular beautician, was expecting the bill to be about $80-100 [I only pay $40 at Dina's Mom's place], but to my surprise it was a whopping $186.20!

This Chris lah, geh si want me to attend his cousin's wedding dinner, so must pretty pretty show face there mah!

The place was very high tech lah, very different from Dina's Mom's place. First I got analysis for my skin type, then a consultation of what I'd need to improve my skin.

The whole session lasted 2hours and 20mins. They really used a lot of different machine for my face, there's 2 that involved some blue light rays and few others that goes round my face and eye area.

What's great was the head, shoulder and upper back massage given lah, shiok! Better than the SPA I had in Batam. Very tempted to sign on the package with them, but it cost like thousand odd dollars for 12 sessions. She mentioned that They allow instalment plans if I have a credit card, told Chris about it, he offered to pay, but quite taxing on him lah, our daily expenditure already quite high. Maybe will discuss more with Chris after getting a new job and my supplementary card from him.


Will be another boring day tomorrow. Chris will be at some jungle over-seeing some operation. Don't know what lah, everything also confidential one. Hurhurhur. Was tasked to go find out more about packages for our trip. But so far I found, each pax 3D2N would cost about 500 per pax, and most airlines now have limited seats and time.

So headache, always say wanna travel at the last minute.

Maid's going home on Monday, 9th June, for 2-3 weeks. Chris be taking 1 whole week's of leave. Better pray there's seats for the airline. If not we'll just rot @ home without a maid to do housework! Worst if we'll have to do lah! Doesn't make things better when there's a stupid male dog that pees and poos anyhow in the house! Just wish Dad would send him back.

BATAM TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very unexpectedly, Chris said "Baby, let's go to Batam tomorrow morning! " A lil excited and a lil hesitant, I asked " Ain't it too rush? If you're able to make a reservation, we'll go ahead."

And so, booking for accomodation were made, and the very next morning we rushed and drove to his place to get his passport and stuffs, head home to give a quick walk to Sundae before leaving for Harbourfront Centre.

Wah I tell you! The queue there is like WAHHHHHHHHH. So many Singaporeans heading to Batam! But luckily, we managed to get the tickets for the first departing ferry!

And so after breakfast at Burger King, there we are, in the ferry to our first trip together!

And after all those boliao chit chats and photo taking, we finally saw our destination!!!

Harris is just a less than 5mins drive away! Didn't managed to take the front shot, always forget lah, but here's the back! :P

It's out very bright and neat room!!!

But see what I found? Ultra-ly gross! Stains on the cushion!!!!!!!!!!!

See what our room became after our request for a room with queen sized bed was rejected.

We jetlagged a bit lah, time in Batam is 1 hour earlier than in Singapore. So we kan-jiong lah, see the watch 3.30pm and we've booked for our SPA at 730pm. And in between the time, we wanna:

1. Eat Lunch
2. Do sea sports/swim
3. Cycle around the area to look-see look-see
4. Finish Dinner 1 hour before massage

We freaked out for the moment! It's only during lunch we realised we have "Extra" 1hour for all the activities.

Makan-ed the complimentary Pizza from Harris, quite nice, but not filling enough, heng heng we had heavy breakfast. Wanted to rent a motorbike to ride around lah, but thought was a bit dangerous, so we took the bicycles instead.

I tell youuuuuuuuuuuuuu........... There got not proper paths for you to cycle one loh! We gotta cycle on the same roads as the cars, motors, trucks and coaches! A bit scared lah, cos the bikes also got no mirror for me to monitor traffic.

After recki-ing the place, realised the sea shore was dirty loh! So after asking around where are the sea sports activities held, we went down to the kelong for Kayaking! We were the only ones kayaking loh, the rest we either speed-boating for on the banana boat.

Feeling tired, we went off to the jaccuzzi pool to relax, and 30mins later, back at the room wet and cold!

We got there at 7pm, wanted to try our luck if it's possible for us to start earlier, but nooooooooooo.......... We had to wait until 730pm, EXACT! Too bored, so what we do?

Finally 730pm lah! Went to out hut, very nice ambience lah! Inside, 1 jaccuzzi tub, 1 rain shower head 2 massage beds, and 1 top mount vanity cabinet & sink.

We were told to strip naked, down to our undies only, and wrap ourselves in the sarong. The whole programme was like this:

A foot wash (1min)

The painful body scrub! (45mins?) - I swear my skin almost came out! :P

A Shower (15mins) - The freaking water was ICY COLD!!

The Massage (1hour?) - Shiok, but found it a bit hastened. And when she splash the aroma oil on me, it was burning hot lah, I screamed an OUCH!

A Herbal bath in the Jaccuzzi Tub (supposedly 30mins, I sat in only 10mins) - AGAIN ICY COLD WATER! KNS loh, already so late in the night, still give me cold water to shower and to soak in. I lunnnnnnnnn until cannot lun, kept shivering, told chris to shower then go outside make noise even before time was up.

A Shower - Water freaking cold again! Feeling even more angry now!

Stormed to the counter, nicely but in a firm tone, told him about my experience lah. And what he do? Called up manager, say only 10% discount! I was looking at 25% loh! Gheeze! And apparently, they always excounter this lack of hot water issue! =.=""

Went for late dinner at the kelong beside Harris, where we had our kayaking session.

Went back to the room, feeling cold and sleepy, I plonked onto the bed without even changing out, off the air conditioning and pull the comforter over. Minutes later, badly blocked nose even when I swallow my saliva the stupid nose hurt like hell.

Half asleep and half awake, I was shivering the hell out of myself, I was cold to the bones! Chris put on the other conforter over me, still cold! Was only with Chris' body warmth I managed to fall asleep.

Feel kinda bad cos he woke up the next morning with a backach and feeling really warm.

Got up early for breakfast, wore our red tees for the first time.

While waiting for the shuttle bus service to the City for shopping, took pictures around Harris again.

Shuttle came, and off we went to Nagoya City for shopping, WITHOUT ANY CASH! Hurhurhur. Not so bad, they have ATMS there, drew out RP300 000. Spend like king and queen! How I wished is was SGD300 000.

Never take picture of tt place lah. Basically, looks like any other not so upclass shopping centres in M'sia. Indonesia leh, what you expect? T shirts can be selling as low as SGD$1.50, and the most expensive SGD$30.

And guess what I found there?

Time flies! We sat down for late lunch at one of the steak place. They take 30mins to cook okay, and the place is NOT crowded at all loh! Fedup, cos we gotta rush to the meeting pick up point for our shuttle bus and still needa grab some more stuffs before we leave!

Made them tapao in the end. Cheap lah, total makan SGD15. 2 soups, 2 steaks and 1 drink. BUT the steak hor, 1 kind one leh. Cooked to the core, and the size of the meat is just my palm size!

It was time for us to leave Batam, and only then I realised I was actually, realistically on a HOLIDAY with Chris. Hurhur.

Look what I also bought 2 Ultra big packets of Cotton Candy, less than SGD1 for a packet.

and even before the Ferry leaves the port, I already finished it liao.



I was a very fun weekend lah. Haven been out of SG for such a long time, and I did fully enjoyed what Chris planned and had paid for this whole trip. We really lived like King & queen there!

Service staffs were really nice and polite, felt a lil bad being so stern with the SPA reception boy, his eyes were all red lah, almost burnt out in tears I guess. Next time I go there, I wanna try the Banana boat, speed boating and cable ski as well! Since it's like cheaper than in SG.

Ferry + Accomodation + Food + Activities + SPA + Shopping = >$550.

Punctured!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, did this for Din-din for Chris & myself. Very very filled after eating all that, FULL OF CARBOS LAH!



I so loveeeeeeeeeeeeee the Bacon + Asparagas lah! Super yummy! But ultra sinful too.


One very bad thing happened this 2 days. Sundae & Nono got into a fight not once, not twice, but 3 freaking times!!!!!!

See how the punctured bite wound STUPID Nono gave me? I swear he HUNG on my freaking thigh for 3seconds before letting go!



And as for Daedae, being charbor, although very rough and tomboyish most of the time, she only gave superficial wounds.


Sundae is the most poor thing one lah! The wound near to her throat there, bled like hell last night, couldn't stop bleeding. And when she opens her jaws, it cause the wound to spread, causing blood to drip like a faulty tap! The rest of the 3 punctures, also very deep, like the ones on my thigh, but imagine it on my Sundae's white little head.

Top of left eye swollen, side of right eye also swollen, bottom jaw also swollen with 2 wounds. OUCH! Couldn't sleep well last night, was half asleep and kept waking up like every 30mins to check on her wounds, and also making sure Chris & my sleeping position was Okay, so as not to disturb her.

Poor baby slept through the night shivering & having irregular breathing. Must go get the Rescue Remedy real soon! So tied up at work today that I've got no time. Managed to pop by PLC at about 945, but they don't carry it.

Hurhur! Don't know if the fur would grow out of those scars. Also Sundae has become very vengeful, each time she sees Nono now, she'll want to charge up to him. Screamed at Dad to bring him back where he came from, but he REFUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone please spare me from all this heart breaks and stress. I'm already up to my neck from work, the company, customers & now the dogs! OMGOMGOMG!

For the first time, we tried this Japanese Pasta at thie place in Cineleisure. What they serve there is not too bad, value for money too, compared to Pasta Mania.

Over at Mini Toons, we bought this very interesting Lemon Flavoured Mint! It's shaped in mini BALLs! Within it is some minty liquid, a lil bitter to the taste thou.

Then on thr other day, we went for some CC Facial Event, cheap cheap lah $15, but it's a express facial lah. In return for the support, the forum headmaster gave us $40 cash voucher for the Eastern Restaurant @ Centrepoint. Went to makan dinner there last night, not too bad lah, but still prefer Din Tai Feng.

In all the bill was like $56plus, quite ok lah, considered the amount of items we ordered. :)


On my request, Chris cooked me another round of pancakes + soup for dinner last friday. With all the proper cooking tools & ingredients, those cooked by him turned out well. And as for me, there's only one word, DISASTROUS! My pancakes cannot see daylight one lah, so got no pictures. He was sweet, ate them although they were thick, maybe half cooked, and looked totally disgusting!

I was freaked out by this idiotic monkey over at MacRitchie on Sunday. Intending to give me and Sundae some weight losing programme, Chris decided that we should head down to MacRitchie Reservoir, to walk on the trials towards some Tu-something Tower. Upon reaching, realised that NO PETS were allowed on nature trails. A lil happy lah, cos no need to walk so much, it's a freaking 5.8KM ok! People wearing flip-flops somemore.

Took cab that day. See how happy Sundae was? :D Her face i tell youuuuuuu.... Full of scars lah! Kept fighting with Nono over the slightest irritation. And got a swollen face 2 days before this picture was taken. Ugly liao lah!

So off we went to walk Sundae around the place, came to this sheltered resting point, and there was a male monkey, can see his balls lah! who caught Sundae's attention. Wanting to watch him, we sat down loh! Stupid Sundae wanted to play, gave out high pitched whines and started to play "Bow", and guess what that monkey did? He freaking charged 3 steps towards us, hissed [he did hissed!] and showed his beautiful set of fangs! Fucking scared can!

Wanting to leave, we took a few steps towards the path, who knows he did the same thing again! Chris lifted his leg & shouted at the monkey in attempt to scare him off, BUT THEN!!!!!!!!! The monkey came charging! Thinking that he would jump on either of us and start biting & scratching us fractically, I screamed my lungs out, only to make the monkey even angrier. SIAO ONE the money!!!!

Silly me! Grrrr.. I persuaded Chris to sit down with Sundae & me, to wait for the monkey to move off before we do. Heng ah! shortly after the monkey got distracted and went off climbing on roofs.

AVA should put this money to sleep lah! Harm the public nia! What if it's curious lil children who approached?? KNS! And I'm sure you people out there must have heard or even experienced monkeys snatching food/drinks off your hands/bags/picnic sheets etc.

Very hot and tired, took a rest and started taking photos at the shelter while Sundae busy herself with tortise watching.
