Sundae needs a pet!

You didn't read me wrong.

When my cousins were here, they had a Syrian hamster in a cage placed on the TV console and Sundae's favourite past time was to stand and watch him. It made her less bored and tired her out in the late evenings as she gets so excited whenever the hamster start running on his wheel that she jumped and jumped non stop just to get a closer view.

Now that all of them are gone, Sundae is looking really bored. Other than when there's food or walks, most of the times she'd just lay around the house and sleep. We've decided to get her pet hamsters!

We decided on the winter white breed, pearl or sapphire is fine but I don't want the normal ones. They're just too normal. :P

So after visiting Chris' parents' place yesterday, we headed down to Serangoon North in search of the hammies and their necessities.

Sundae waiting patiently in her bag while we got ready.

Crossing the road towards the bus stop

We've gotten the basic stuffs ready, just short of a food bowl and the pair of hammies.

Ready :
Tank (2nd-hand) - $10
Silent wheel - $8.50
Toilet - $5
Toilet/Bathe sand - $8.90
Food - $4.90
Bottle - $4.90
CornCob bedding (not in pic) - $6.90
Sub-Total - $42.70 (after shop discount)

Need to get :
Food bowl (Daiso) - $2
Pair of Hamsters - $20
Sub-Total - $22

Total - $64.70

Wah! It's like damn expensive when they're all added up together. But on the brighter side, my aunt got the Syrian and all his stuffs at a whopping $130++.

Ta-daaa! This should be comfortable for a pair of dwarfs.

I'm still considering whether if we should adopt adults or purchase baby ones from shops, and also whether to get 1 or 2 hammies. What do you peeps think, lend me your inputs. Thanks. :)

Being home all day gives me time to try recipes. Hehe! This is Steamed Chicken in D.O.M Liquor and Fried French Bean with Eggs.

This is for sale. Anyone interested? All the way from the U.S.A. Chris bought the wrong size and Sundae ended looking like a tightly sealed sausage after putting this on. Super wasted can! We liked this so much. Going for SGD$25. Picture doesn't do it justice. Will fit dogs 4kg and below. :) It's about a pampet size 3.

Lunch, then to the books
